Young in the City is like an intravenous shot of tequila and bull semen straight to the jugular. These guitar licks could shoot the panties off an angry gorilla. These beats could make you bop your head. These lyrics could hurt ballerinas' feelings.
Cutting an 80's-style album without it sounding like an unitended parody or, on the other hand, missing the mark entirely is an arduous task. This album perfectly exemplifies the true musical/compositional talent of Noah Gundersen and his band. Love this album.
